This contract was for 3 months while Attenda were experience high volumes of client requests and waiting for permanent staff to start.
I produced solution designs from understanding the client’s requirements, their current infrastructure and their reasons for change.
These solutions ranged from complete hosting of virtual servers running on dedicated VMware vSphere 5 ESXi hosts for the client and physical SQL Servers to small numbers of virtual machines running on Attenda’s shared cloud infrastructure.
While at Attenda I also had some exposure to their Amazon Web Services (AWS) service offering and Microsoft Azure.
This role was not hands on; it was client facing producing solution design documentation including pricing to a level to enable the client to understand the solution to their business need and to allow the implementation team to take it forward into production.
