This role was for an IBM and VMware business partner providing virtualisation, IBM x86 server, storage and Lotus Notes/Domino technical consultancy to their customers.
I was primarily involved in the design and implementation of technical solutions based around virtualisation using the VMware product set.
However, I was involved with the whole sales cycle, starting with understanding the customer’s requirements, converting this into a suitable solution, scoping out the project, carrying out delivery of the solution and post implementation support and customer documentation.
The role required communication up to board level within CSI’s customers who cover a variety of sectors such as retail, finance and manufacturing.
