VCP6-DCV Exam Released

The beta version of the VCP6-DCV (Data Centre Virtualisation) exam was released last week.

For current VCP5-DCV candidates there is a delta exam is shorter than the “normal” VCP6-DCV exam focusing on the new content of VCP6. The Delta exam contains 75 questions with a time limit of 90 minutes, whereas the “normal” exam has 100 questions with a time limit of 120 minutes.

If you are not a current VCP then you now need to take two exams to become a VCP6-DCV, as well as attending one of the required training course. The two exams are the vSphere 6 Foundations exam and the VCP6-DCV exam. The Foundation exam for this covers the fundamental skills necessary to understand and begin deploying VMware vSphere environments.
